Vintage LE Smith Amerhyst Purple Diamond, pattern #650, Square Nut/Candy Dish.  There was little information online concerning this pattern, the dating is an estimation off of the general time they used this color.  This piece is unique and very beautiful. 
 
Filled with a hand poured soy candle scented with Plumberry dahlia fragrance oil; Bold, beautiful and utterly beguiling, magenta dahlia leads magnolia and orange blossom in a floral bouquet beside bright mandarin peel, sweet and tart raspberry and passion fruit, along with warm musk and white woods.

    Top – Red Currant, Mandarin Peel, Passion Fruit
    Middle – Magenta Dahlia, Orange Blossom, Blush Magnolia
    Base – Raspberry, White Woods, Warm Musk

From research on this pattern it was produced from 1954-1961 in various colors.  The pattern appeared again from 1961-1965 in milk glass only for their "heritage line".  I could not find a comparison of this particular piece which shows it is rare to find compared to many other LE Smith pieces.  It is a unique and beautiful bowl.
